About this role

You will be working in an agile environment and taking ownership of our front-end codebases for web application projects where a typical stack comprises of

  • Vanilla Js
  • jQuery
  • Vue.js 3
  • Boostrap 5
  • REST API’s
  • GIT

Responsibilities

  1. Translation of design wireframes and information architecture wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application.
  2. Develop design from designer and assist customers to visualise their end product output to ensure our clients have confidence in our ability to achieve their commercial goals.
  3. To apply the human metaphor to web design and develop a UI frame to ensure relevant and user-friendly operational usage of the user interface.
  4. Deliver web and mobile UI designs that support cross-browser compatibility and UI responsiveness.
  5. Integrate and consume APIs with the applications built.
  6. Collaborate with Software Engineers, Project Managers and Designers to deliver new and existing functionalities.
  7. Keep updated on technologies and market trends to propose improvements to the company’s product based on industry needs.

Qualifications

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of proven and demonstrable experience working in developing Front-end projects.
  3. Experience in using POSTMAN or similar technologies.
  4. Have solid understanding and experience in HTML, CSS, Bootstrap CSS, TailwindCSS, SaSS and other frontend technologies.
  5. Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
  6. Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
  7. Ability to perform in a team environment.
  8. Strong oral and written communication skills (Bahasa Malaysia, English).
  9. Can solve a problem without depending on Stackoverflow / Google.

Added advantage

  1. Experience using Vue, React, Angular or other JavaScript libraries / Frameworks.
  2. Experience in software development tools such as XCode, and GIT or using any cloud service such as AWS (Amazon Web Service) or Digital Ocean.
  3. Experience in using RunCloud.
  4. Experience in developing applications together with Laravel or REST API.
  5. The UI/UX sense in web design will add an advantage.
  6. Have an interesting portfolio to showcase to the recruiter.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday. 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM (1 Hour lunch break).

RM36,000 – RM50,400++ / year
