At AsiaQuest Malaysia, Lead Developer are pivotal to our company’s success. We are seeking a detailed-oriented individual that is ready to be part of our internal back-end team. Your role will focus on technical parts including code development, automation, and testing to deliver quality, stable and secure integrations.


  • Understand business and delivery priorities and define technology / architectural solutions.
  • Led team in adopting and implementing technology best practices.
  • Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determining software quality standards.
  • Design, implement, and maintain applications used by both mobile and desktop clients.
  • Lead design, design reviews, code reviews, and technical delivery.
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions and address strategic technology aspects.
  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with other developers, project managers, and UIX designers to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.
  • Analyse and resolve technical and application problems.
  • Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
  • Analysing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
  • Lead the development team on full-stack development or decoupled development approach.


  • Good to have of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in leading complex software agile / waterfall delivery.
  • Experience in coaching tech teams.
  • Experienced in backend (PHP, NodeJs, Ruby or Python), frontend (Javascript, React.js/Vue.js) and mobile (Flutter) development.
  • Solid knowledge of Agile and DevOps as well as the ability to influence people to use them.
  • Working knowledge in cloud services, containerization, and DevOps tools.
  • Ability to do hands-on development and manage a team.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday. 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM (1 Hour lunch break). —– Hybrid environment : 2 days WFH, 3 days in the office.




RM96,000 – RM120,000++ / year
